Happy New Year from The Ramblers’ Rest

Can't believe that Christmas is over again for another year and we would like to wish all our customers a  Happy New Year and a big thank you for all your custom and support throughout 2013. We have had lots of great Christmas  parties  throughout December  finishing with a lovely New Years Eve Party enjoyed by a group of 24 Friends.

We have had a really busy Year at The Ramblers’ Rest,and have noticed a  growing number of   visitors.  Walkers, out on a gentle, local stroll or doing the long distance  Minster Way or Wolds Way walks, and  lots and lots of cyclists,  regular cycling clubs, general cycling enthusiasts or  cyclists taking part in The Way Of The Roses long distance ride. All visitors are obviously taking advantage of the wonderful Wolds landscape surrounding the picturesque wolds village of Millington.

We have had  3  lovely weddings   at The Ramblers’   Rest this year. Small, intimate and definitely tailor made to each individual couple and we really enjoyed being part of such special days. The Ramblers’ Rest is definitely the  perfect venue for such a special occasion.

I have just about finished my Valentines Menu so it should be up on the  website shortly.  Please give me a call if you would like a table, we are getting quite well booked.   Perhaps  include an overnight stay in our  accommodation?!
